An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for an Ophthalmologist to work in an amazing surgery based in the Inverness, Scotland area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading laser eye surgery specialists

This is one of UK and Ireland’s number one provider of laser eye surgery and private lens surgery

**You should be on the UK specialist register (Ophthalmology) + Full GMC Registration**

As the Ophthalmologist you key responsibilities include:
• Participate in all aspects of ophthalmology outpatient care at a leading service
• Management of general, glaucoma and medical retina
• Responsibility for the clinical supervision directly or indirectly of non-medical staff and participate in audit
• Develop and maintain communication with people on complex matters, issues and ideas and/or in complex situations

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Excellent clinical quality record
• Ability to perform efficiently and independently in clinic whilst providing exceptional care
• Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent teamwork with clinical colleagues
• Willingness to utilise and develop clinical care pathways in the overall management of patients and assist in improving these pathways over time

The successful Ophthalmologist will receive an amazing salary up to £200,000 FTE DOE! This exciting position is a Full Time role working through Days only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
