Norscot Joinery Limited is a privately owned Highland-based company, established in 1984, with over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and supplying high-quality timber frame homes, as well as replacement windows and doors. Headquartered at the Bower Workshops in Caithness, the company operates from a modern 25,000 square foot factory and showroom, equipped with sophisticated computer-controlled machinery. This, combined with a skilled workforce, enables Norscot to produce one of the most comprehensive ranges of building components and related products from a single source in Scotland.

We serve customers across the Scottish Highlands through two showrooms—one in Bower, catering to Caithness and the surrounding areas, and another in Inverness, located within a purpose-built facility on the Carse Industrial Estate, supporting sales, storage and distribution throughout the wider region. Our customer-focused approach ensures we meet the needs of clients from a broad market base, including domestic, retail, trade and public sectors, stretching from the Shetland Isles to the Central Belt, and from the Outer Hebrides to Aberdeen.

Our extensive product range includes timber frame kit homes, bespoke windows, doors, patios and conservatories in redwood, hardwood, and uPVC finishes (white, rosewood, or golden oak), as well as the Design 5 timber/aluminium composite window system and a sliding mirror door system. Our uPVC windows also hold BM Trada Q-Mark third-party accreditation, reflecting our commitment to quality. We employ over 70 staff, operate under an ISO 9001-accredited quality assurance scheme, and generate a multi-million-pound annual turnover. Backed by a strong capital base, Norscot continues to invest in delivering and maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
